PlugOS devices obtain power from the host through the USB Type-C interface and communicate with the host. Before use, you need to confirm that your host supports USB OTG power supply.

The methods to enable OTG vary among different brands. Here are the operation steps for common brands:

1. Huawei phones: OTG function is enabled by default.

2. Xiaomi phones: Most models have OTG enabled by default.

3. VIVO phones: OTG function needs to be manually enabled. Go to Settings - More Settings - OTG Switch.

4. OPPO phones: OTG function needs to be manually enabled. Go to Settings - More Settings - OTG Switch.

5. Honor phones: OTG function is supported by default.

6. iPhone: iPhone 15 and above versions support OTG.

Host: Smart electronic products with a USB Type-C interface and OTG function, running one of Android, iOS, or Windows, such as mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc.

OTG explanation: OTG function is a new type of USB transmission technology that enables direct connection of mobile devices such as phones and tablets to USB peripherals (such as USB flash drives) without a computer as a transfer station for data transmission, output operations, or charging functions.

Similar to other electronic products, please pay attention to the following matters when using this device:

1. Avoid using the device in high-temperature, humid, dusty or strong magnetic field environments to prevent damage to internal components.

2. Do not use sharp objects to poke the Type-C interface. When plugging and unplugging, make sure to align the interface and insert or remove it vertically to avoid deformation or damage to the interface.

3. When the device is running, turn it off first before unplugging the Type-C data cable to prevent data loss or device damage.

4. Do not use the device for illegal or unauthorized operations, such as system cracking or data theft.

5. Do not place heavy objects on the device to avoid physical damage caused by compression.

6. Use a Type-C power supply with a voltage of 5V/1A or above for the host. Do not use other voltages to prevent overcharging, overheating, fire or device failure.

8. Update the PlugOS APP and device system in a timely manner to fix possible security vulnerabilities and enhance data protection capabilities.

9. The product key is the only credential for device management. Please keep it properly. Any consequences caused by leakage or loss of the key will be borne by the user.

10. Do not disassemble the device by yourself. If the device malfunctions, contact the official after-sales personnel for repair. Disassembly without authorization will result in the invalidation of the warranty.

11. When cleaning the device, disconnect the power first and use a dry and soft cloth to wipe it. Do not use alcohol, chemical cleaners or other liquids to prevent liquid from seeping into the device and causing damage.
