Times self-destruct

For security protection purposes, the PlugOS device provides a self-destruct function triggered upon exceeding the maximum number of incorrect password attempts. Note: After the device self-destructs, it cannot be used again. Please operate with caution.

How to use:

  1. Enter the PlugOS desktop, find “PlugOS Settings” → “Security Policy”
  2. On the Security Policy page, click the “Wrong password self-destruct” card → Select the number of incorrect password attempts that will trigger self-destruct → Click the “Confirm” button → Enter the device unlock password to complete the setup.
  3. When entering the system again, enter the password as prompted
  4. After 5 incorrect entries, the system directly jumps to the “Add New Device page”

Note: When the number of errors reaches the self-destruct count, all data in the system will be wiped, and the device will be restored to factory settings. Please operate carefully.
